Evergreen Campus LLC is a non-profit educational institute. Evergreen aims to help motivated students who are financially challenged to achieve their dreams of higher education (sociology, American studies, criminology) and language (Mandarin Chinese and English) acquisition. There are about 20 courses at graduate and undergraduate levels for students who need these courses for credits and/or tutoring. For course offerings, please see the following text. Click on "Research Methods" for a sample syllabus and fee agreement for how fee is decided and collected. For contact information, please see the bottom of  this page. 

          Evergreen also offers copy-editing assistance for academic writers in English and Mandarin Chinese.

辅导收费标准Prices for Tutoring

I do provide 30 % of the first fee (3 months of work) as commission to recruiters. Students get some free classes if their parents recommend my tutoring.

招生者保留第一期学费（三个月）的30%作为回扣。家长推荐的学生获赠一些免费课时。

Excellent students with extreme difficulties can have the low rates listed for one on one tutoring. Otherwise, all one on one tutoring is $35. 

学习优异但是家境清寒的学生可以按照收费标准单上的价格上一对一的辅导。其他学生一对一辅导一律每小时35美元。

Classes have the rates as indicated even if a class only has one student.

Research/Tutoring (Undergraduate and Graduate):研究生、本科生科研/辅导

1. Areas: identity, crime, health, inequality (race, gender, class), social network analysis, immigration, and English literature.

2. Courses in these research areas will be at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

 

Learning Agreement：课程/辅导协议

1. Course Fee: Evergreen Campus collects course fee after a pass grade (any grade other than “F” or an agreed upon grade between Evergreen and students if needed) is earned by students. No fee is collected if such a grade is not achieved by the students. An agreement is entered by Evergreen and Students at the end of the audit period for students to complete the course and for fee collection at the end of the course by Evergreen. Evergreen does not reimburse collected course fee or take responsibility for costs incurred by students due to necessary purchases for course work, including but not limited to: required textbook, technology, and equipment (e.g. computer). Evergreen does provide support concerning advice and possible support for the above mentioned costs.  

2. Audit: Evergreen would provide feedback for students concerning their performance and possibility to earn a desired grade after 20% course work is delivered. Evergreen will end further course work if the audit period proves unpromising.

3. Tutoring: Fee is collected based on hours of each tutoring session by Evergreen from students. Length of total tutoring time in a quarter is jointly decided by students and Evergreen Campus. Before each tutoring session, students will send their goals for that session to Evergreen Campus. At the end of the session, students will pay depending on whether the session met their goals. Students can choose to stop tutoring at any session. Evergreen Campus can also choose to stop tutoring at any session in the case communication with students does not meet the goals of the students or for purposes of academic integrity of Evergreen Campus LLC.  

4. Students’ Responsibility: Students need to provide GPA at their home institute for discussion of a desired grade in coursework with Evergreen. Students provide information about resources they plan to invest in their chosen courses: time, schedule, finance, goal, previous knowledge, and family and community support.

5. Quarter System: Evergreen uses a quarter system. That is, each academic year is divided into fall, winter, and spring quarters. Each quarter is 11-12 weeks. Evergreen Campus can work with you if you use a semester system. 

6. Credit Transfer: Students need to discuss with their home institute to transfer credits to their home institutes if the student would like to take courses with Evergreen. Evergreen then provides course syllabi for students to transfer course credit to their selected colleges. Any other needed reasonable materials will be provided.

Languages

All classes are capped at 24. That is, the maximum for ONE class is 24 people. Beginner classes: For a class with more than 10 students (10-19), each student pays $6 per hour. For a class with more than 20 students (20-24), each student pays $5 per hour. Intermediate classes: For a class with more than 10 students (10-19), each student pays $8 per hour. For a class with more than 20 students (20-24), each student pays $6 per hour. Undergraduate classes: For a class with more than 10 students (10-19), each student pays $15 per hour. For a class with more than 20 students (20-24), each student pays $10 per hour. English is available at beginner, intermediate, and undergraduate levels. Mandarin Chinese is available at beginner and intermediate levels.

American Studies: Intermediate Classes and Seminars

Intermediate classes (Middle School and High School): All classes are capped at 24. That is, the maximum for ONE class is 24 people. For a class with more than 10 students (10-19), each student pays $8 per hour. For a class with more than 20 students (20-24), each student pays $6 per hour. Subjects offered: American Political System, American Legal System, American Intellectual History, American History, American Literature, American Educational System.

Seminars (undergraduate): All classes are capped at 10. That is, the maximum for ONE class is 10 people. Undergraduate classes: For a class with 3-5 people, each student pays $20 per hour. For a class with 6-10 people, each student pays $15 per hour. Seminars offered: American Legal System, American History, American Literature, Organizational Studies (For Profit and Non-Profit Organizations).

PhD and masters' students with PhD programs as aim. All seminars are capped at 5. That is, the maximum for ONE class is 5 people. Graduate classes: For a class with 2-3 people, each student pays $30 per hour. For a class with 4-5 people, each student pays $20 per hour.
